Established in 1948, Moxhams has remained at the forefront of audio-visual services. Since then, the technology has evolved and so have we – adapting and expanding to meet our customers’ needs. However the underlying values of customer service, reliability and professionalism remain as strong as they always have.
Our new purpose built facilities are in Northam, Southampton. They offer a combination of modern open-plan offices, demonstration facilities and large secure warehousing. Handy for both the motorway network and our Southampton clients, the offices are a stone’s throw from Southampton FC’s St Mary’s stadium, although Brian assures us that’s purely coincidence!

Moxhams started life in the 1940s as a chemist. As well as the pharmacy, the business provided a service developing customers photos and slides and selling cameras and cine-projectors. As the business grew, servicing and repairs were offered – including to education and business customers as well as individuals.
Although the pharmacy side of the business dwindled, the embryonic AV activities blossomed with the hiring out of expensive kit and the installation of new equipment.
Today the chemists are long-gone, and Moxhams is one of the leading and largest providers of AV on the South Coast.
