I’d like to thank you and the Moxham’s crew for the hard work and professionalism that you put into supporting our Maritime Chairman’s Awards Ceremony at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on 13 October 2011.

It was a challenging event all told: split over two venues; the main space being an awkwardly shaped, timber framed Victorian Boathouse filled to capacity with some 450 guests.

You proposed an interesting concept for the projection screens, which I admit I didn’t gel with straight away. However you addressed my concerns, about clearance height and visability. The final result, I think, was stunning.

The Lighting brought life: to the three Photographer’s presentation photos; and to the connecting walkway between the venues. It transformed the drab interior of the old Boathouse into something special, befitting our night of celebration.

The Audio quality was excellent – your technician’s expertise ensured that the sound had a consistent clarity and depth throughout the space.

The Camera work and Vision Mixing was slick, always; on cue; and delivering a coherent image to the screen so that all of our guests, even those at the furthest corners of the room, felt included and part of the proceedings.

What was most impressive is how well the crew worked as a team on the night – their committment to the event was impeccable. Under Roger’s direction as Stage Manager, they were focussed and responsive, rapidly adapting to change – as the hosts wandered off script or Award recipients were found to have changed tables.

And so finally my thanks are to you Brian for your contribution as the Project Manager - it was your leadership and planning that brought it all together and helped make it such a memorable night.

I look forward to working with you and the Moxham’s Team again in the future.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for Friday night, everything went well and your guys were part of making it all come together without any hitches, so an even bigger thank you to them, nothing was too much trouble, if I asked for any thing from them they just did it, from my point of view I felt relaxed knowing that they were on top of everything and I knew if there was any hiccups they would be right on to it and thank fully there weren’t and it all went very well.
